Non-Smoking
Black Dog cabin is a non-smoking vacation home.
Rental Terms
Weekly rentals typically run from Saturday to Saturday. A 7 night minimum stay is required for peak season (June, July, and August). A two to three night minimum is required at all other times.
Check-in time is 4 p.m. and checkout is 10 am.
Taxes
The rates above are subject to 10 percent tax (7 percent N.C. state sales tax and 3 percent county occupancy tax).
Cleaning
Rates above are also subject to a $150 cleaning fee. The house will be clean upon arrival but no housekeeping service is provided during a stay. However all bed linens and bath towels are provided.
Pets
Black Dog Cabin is dog friendly and dogs are considered on a case by case basis. A $200 nonrefundable pet fee applies. All dogs must be on a flea and tick prevention program, have current vaccinations, adhere to leash laws and be crated when left unattended in the cabin.
Payment Methods
We accept checks, cashiers checks and money orders. Final payment is due no more than 60 days prior to arrival.
Deposit & Payment Policies
A $500 refundable security deposit along with a signed rental agreement is due within 14 days of making a reservation. The full rental fee plus applicable cleaning fee and taxes is due 60 days prior to arrival.
Cancellation Policies
Cancellations will be accepted up until 60 days prior to a reserved stay; a $100 cancellation fee applies. After 60 days the reservation is nonrefundable therefore we strongly recommend the purchase of trip insurance.

Rates and terms are subject to change without notice. Rates are guaranteed upon completion of the reservation process.
